Prior to joining VERALAW, JULIUS N. RABOCA was the Department Legal Counsel at the Department of the Interior and Local Government. While still a student at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, he worked as a Legal Officer at the Free Legal Assistance Office of the Ministry of Labor & Employment and a Hearing Officer at the Bureau of Employment Services.
He served as Technical Assistant to Commissioner Cirilo Rigos of the 1996 Constitutional Commission which was instrumental in framing the 1987 Philippine Constitution. He gained experience in the areas of corporate law and litigation when he moved to private practice first joining the law offices of Ferrer & Magno and subsequently the Quisumbing Law Office in 1986. He was a partner at the law offices of Cruz, Enverga and Raboca before he decided to embark anew on a public career at the Department of the Interior & Local Government. He has previously lectured on Corporation Law, Civil Law, Labor Law, Trial Technique, Insurance and Administrative Law.
