heads the Maritime/Admiralty and Litigation division. He graduated with second honors from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1981 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1982.
He obtained a master degree in maritime law from the University of Wales, Institute of Science & Technology, United Kingdom, followed by a three-year practice at a prestigious law firm in London, England.
He is an associate professor in Transportation Law at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law. He is the Board Secretary of the Department of Labor’s National Maritime Polytechnic.
He will be participating in the Maritime Law: Mock Mediation in Los Angeles during the Inter Pacific Bar Association 18th Annual Conference from April 27-30, 2008.
